Love reading Genderqueer blogs? Obsessed with Youtube transition channels? Have a boring day job at a computer? The GenderQueer Coalition is looking for motivated, web-savy volunteer folks to help us find and add information to the website.
Position Description:
Find and document online resources related to transgender and genderqueer identities. Applicant will document website links and descibe them comprehensively so they may be added to GQC website directories. This position is flexible based on interest, ability, access, and has no time requirement. Requires familiarity with search engines, hyperlinking, and Microsoft word, active email communication, and regular access to the internet.
Possibly resource projects include:
- Midwestern Organizational Links: Find midwest organizations related to trans, genderqueer, and queer folk's needs
- Midwest Doctor Information: Find local physicians that cator to or work with trans and genderqueer populations.
- YouTube Channels: Create a comprehensive directory of trans/genderqueer YouTube channels
- Blogs: Discover trans/genderqueer blogs and better our blog directory
- Listservs: Discover trans/genderqueer listservs and better our listserv directory
